Customer Reviews

Simple set up, food was awesome had the turkey cranberry melt with onion rings forgot to get a pic but came with a gravy dipping sauce. Others at the table had the French dip also good and a pizza. Really pleasantly surprised. Waitress was amazing. Didn't stay for the Wednesday karaoke but it was filling up fast.

An excellent addition to the downtown Cleveland 1st Street restaurants, located right beside Mash and Hops Beer Garden and the Press, is Brick and Vine: a walkable, street-facing location with ample seating in a large dining area and attached bar with live TV and sports. It offers a relaxed atmosphere where you can share and laugh with friends and family, and a varied menu of pizzas, appetizers, salads, and your favorite beverages. I highly recommend eating here; the flavors are delicious.

I've eaten here five days a week, every single week, since they opened over a month ago, and honestly... I could eat this food for the rest of my life and never get tired of it. I'm not exaggerating when I say the guy who makes the burgers and sandwiches is such a good cook to the point i honestly think his food is the best food I've ever eaten. I'm definitely not alone in that opinion, a lot of others clearly feel the same way. I've overheard and read from and talked to multiple people who have said that the burgers at Brick and Vine are better than the ones at Headrick's, and when different people are all saying the same thing without hearing it from each other, that's how you know it's genuine. The pizza is made by a different cook, and while I don't usually order pizza, the times I have, it's been excellent. I even heard someone from New York say it was the best pizza he's ever had. I've seen a couple of negative reviews about the pizza, but that honestly doesn't line up with my experience at all. Way too many people have expressed how much they loved it for it to be anywhere near "Pizza Hut grade" or whatever. It's so much better than Pizza Hut in my opinion, and I wouldn't even think to be comparing the two if it wasn't for that one review , speaking of that review the pizza and the restaurant itself doesn't feel like "fast food" at all. At worst you could call it fast casual, but I wouldn't, I'd just call it delicious. But what really sets this place apart is that you can tell the food is made with love (as cheesy as that sounds that's the best way I can describe it) and the people making your food genuinely care and enjoy what they do, and I think thats something you can taste. The atmosphere there reflects that too. I honestly couldn't recommend the place especially the food more. Even if you don't live near Cleveland, it's absolutely worth the drive.
